Complete Themefia End (It's a Nice Day for a Red Wedding)

RE: Themefia (10/10)
My current picks for scum are dC (poor schmuck) and Amos. I think CB nailed some pretty good points on Amos earlier, and (speaking of Insomniac) dC's pursuit of yet another poorly reasoned Druple lynch followed by a baseless move against me reads hella scummy to me too. The big kicker is that they've been talkative enough and expressed enough other opinions so far to be worth commenting on, but neither of them's talked barely at all about or to the other. Amos' pretend disengagement from speed's wagon was even less committal than mine but here I am taking the flak for it from dC instead.

I would be happy seeing either one of them strung up today and ask that the cop check the other one. I'm probably gonna focus pretty hard on this duo, but if I die in the night the cop should claim their check results in the morning to either confirm scumitude or warn of a possible frame job.

Vote: Amos

Here's the detailed blurb: My initial read on speed was a relatively hastily made judgement based on what I had seen prior. His followup posts were genuinely townish. Given the lack of material to go on, yeah, that's more or less where I'm coming from.

I still persist that any talk about flavour is genuinely not worth our time. If you disagree with me, that's okay, just know I'm probably going to completely and utterly ignore you in any regard on that topic.

This whole nonsense that Granola built up (revealing my scumpicks could be -ev oh my) seems really typical granola...

Hey fuck it we have x hours may as well lynch my #1 scumread with my mafioso-in-arms dC Vote: Granola

... It's like 3am I'll get back to everyone on tangible material later, promise.

CC just do something. The more you worry about how well you play and verbalize it the less it really helps us out...
I don't think anyone thinks you're scum after that, just try and look at our posts and give us some insight on what looks off and what looks like someone trying to make someone get lynched.

Hopefully Actually Right Votals:

amos (3) - Coldblodded, Druple, Granola
Granola (2) - DC, amos
DC (1) - Speedchuck
Vancho (1) - CC
TIM (1) - Vancho

As it stands, nobody will be lynched. Four are needed for soft-lynch.

Wouldn't be my first choice right now, but yeah it's possible. Them jumping on the Speedchuck wagon together and that big spat they had about a completely different mafia game are weird things to happen if they're both scum, but like, if there was ever a scumteam to overthink things and make a huge dramatic production out of day one, DC and Granola would probably be it.

Not true, he's been consistently defending CB as a townleader. My opinion of him has actually increased as well on further rereading, he's gotten more shit done than I realized at first. My biggest townread might actually be CC though, due to how genuinely worried #58 feels. That'll probably change soon if they don't answer at least one of the questions asked at them, though. I'll have to admit though that this D1 is one of the worst D1s ever for your first game.

This will probably be my last post for the Day, I'll go to bed pretty soon.

If amos is scum then I'd look in the pool of people who aren't voting for him at the moment (I'm not expecting amos to be scum so I'll check this out tomorrow if he flips scum OR we don't lynch him. Also: "at the moment" means as of this post)

If amos is TOWN, I kind of want Nola dead because...

(06-06-2016 05:00 AM)Granolaman Wrote:  It's not just you, it's dC who's been on top of every other little thing that's happened today except you.

wow it's almost like I wanted to get a counterwagon going to try and make people pick between the two of you and didn't want to draw attention to this :V

it's also almost like a consistent thread in my play is ignoring whoever is being run up at the moment because the rest of the town already has a handle on them so my input is more useful elsewhere !

Anyway, the result seems to have been "a few people trickled onto amos and nobody hopped onto Nola" which makes me suspect that if one of the two is scum it's going to be Nola and his buddies are avoiding him. Main competing alternatives are a D1 busworld (which is possible but less likely), both players are town, and a big pile of abstaining scum (._.).

So at this point I would much rather lynch Nola and I kind of DON'T want to lynch amos :/

This is a 10 player game, if Nola is scum then he probably only has 1 other person on his team, maybe two if the setup is super weird or something. That single missing vote isn't enough to account for the lack of buildup on Granola's wagon. Meanwhile, no one's done anything to make me think that Amos isn't still the most solid lynch option, and Druple and Granola's reasoning for hopping on his wagon were both good. (Crazed Cat's vote was less good, but I'm willing to just chalk that up to newbie enthusiasm for now, pending further explanation.)

Anyways, Speedchuck, Vancho, Donut, and TIM need to either make a decision soon or start pushing for someone else because we've got about four and a half hours left.

Hmm, out of the two lynch targets I like granola slightly less than amos - Granola basically first pointed a finger at speedchuck, and then when that train slowed down did the "look at me I know the scumteam and I'm so mysterious" thing. Amos I also dislike but amos's turnaround on speed seemed, I dunno, more believable?

I'll vote:granola, if granola flips town definitely suggest taking a good hard look at dC/amos scumteam.

Really? Amos gave as much reasoning as I did for his disengagement except he kinda 'forgot' to pull his vote off to reflect that. Also when I disengaged it was because I'd found a better scumspect, Amos only found a new target in me after I laid a case against him. He mentioned me as his default scumspect, but neither elaborated on his suspicions nor acted on them until I'd made my move.

amos has overall been contributing decently, and the push to not talk about flavor after speed talks about it seems like a towny move. along with that amos never actually said anything that seemed super scummy to me so when you pair that with the attempted discussion making(good for town, bad for scum) puts amos as town

My main reasoning for lynching you, granola, over amos is kind of similar to donut's - amos has at least been trying to foster discussion while you started off by being ~m y s t e r i o u s~ and "my scumpicks are 100% correct no need to ask questions or examine them because this one piece of evidence is all I need".

Amos lynch provides more information. Don't really like the way he responded to pressure, but it's not necessarily scummy. Not much to go on either way. Do appreciate Granola's reasons.

I'm more inclined on an amoslynch for those reasons. I've only had about ten minutes to look at the thread, but that's my reasoning. I will be in town next week and will have plenty of time to over-analyze.
