Maria cleared her throat, folding her hands up on the table. "Max. Raven. Agent Kane. Welcome. I'm sort of wondering the same thing, why this particular group, but they sure love their secrets. I assume there's reason enough. You don't have to have a gimmick and a mask to perform well, even if... Well I assume the common factor here is that we all do something weird." She sighed a bit, addressing Raven directly.

"And in any case, I'm told the desperation stems from the biggest invasion in... I believe the agent that brought me here phrased it as 'known history', so make of that what you will. And surely you know KNIGHT loves their dumb secrets by now."

She shrugged, and then turned more vaguely to the rest of the room. "They also hate briefing. I've faced off against them and have a fair idea, but perhaps you'd be better qualified to explain, Dragonfly?"
