RE: Masks: Tales of Heroism and Villainy
This was a lot to take in. So much that Layla opts to remain quiet, surveying the room and listening rather than speaking. The others were doing an awfully good job of basically being her voice and getting what little answers the suited man had to give.
They were also doing a very good job at being scared, even if a good lot of them were trying to focus on action rather than fear.

The first thing she finds herself wanting is armour. It was an idea Burt had tossed around anyway, and she'd consider her biggest weakness to be her inability to take a fucking hit. Good thing KNIGHT seemed fully willing to supply.

"I don't think it's a good idea for us to split up too much, personally. There's power in numbers, and I have a little experience with psychic powers." Even if Layla's entirely unfamiliar with working with people. "We can figure out teams when we're equipping." She too, seems awfully eager to get things going. Awfully eager to FUCKING DIE.
