A thing, and a thing in NUMBERS. He'd been expecting... One frisbee-esque UFO, if anything at all.

He takes a breath, remembering his training when it came to engaging military forces. Right. First off, demoralize them as much as possible. They landed on a primitive world and probably aren't expecting much at all. If the leaders of their unit started mysteriously dying, they'd probably react poorly. Vigil watches the fighting for a few seconds, trying to ascertain if any of the aliens appeared to be squad leaders, captains, or calling the shots in any way whatsoever. If he finds any, he starts to pick them off with his laser-arrows, aiming for the head, or, if he could spot one, a more feasible weak spot on the power-armor. Maybe there was a visible energy pack? Something that would react poorly when you drilled an explosive into it? He'd find out, though he makes sure to also space his shots out so the enemy will be less likely to notice his position.
