RE: Masks: Tales of Heroism and Villainy
Maria considered this, staring at Sharie from behind her helmet. When she wasn't busy making statements about honesty and forwardness, she enjoyed feeling like people couldn't read her well. Alas, right now, this was not the case. Her body language told quite well how she was feeling, and she was clearly fucking bummed. She let the words settle for a moment, and sighed, and a distinct sniffle followed it, ratting her out further. It did her heart a bit of good, to hear that.

Despite her brief feeling of secrecy, the sniffle surely gave her away, and Maria took her helmet off for a moment. Deeeeefinitely teary. She considered something for a moment, looking from Sharie to the side of the drop ship, still open, where all those people were going to stay.

"..." She turned back to Sharie. "... It's Maria. No need for that Coyote bullshit, I don't think." She said, hoarse, and only after that did she follow suit, turning her microphone off. "Thanks... Means enough to know I'm not the only one who isn't..." A second sigh escaped her, and her tears fell harder for a brief time. "... At least you've got the sense to stay where you're needed." Good on her.
