RE: Steam Winter Giveaway 2015 (D7 - Wes Craven's New Giveaway)
And thus concludes the first round of Double Overtime.
Euro Truck: 606 (Pagan - 215, Paranoia - 125, granolaman - 125, Rivenforge - 75, icanhasdonut - 50, amosmyn - 15 Excalibur - 1)
Tropico 4: 401 (Sanzh - 175, cyber95 - 150, AgentBlue - 75, Excalibur - 1)
King of Fighters XIII: 275 (amosmyn - 150, Vancho1 - 125)
To the Moon: 191 (Crowstone - 175, Druplesnubb - 15, Excalibur - 1)
Bioshock: 155 (KoH - 80, Carnegie - 75)
Frozen Synapse (x3): 150 (Terrabalt - 150)
Kick Excalibur in the Crotch: 147 (Raptarion - 100, icanhasdonut - 25, ICan'tGiveCredit - 21, Schazer - 1)
Psychonauts (x2): 135 (Mecha_Goomba - 75, Druplesnubb - 60)

First off we have Euro Truck with 606 points between seven bidders. It's completely crazy that a game in round seven has gathered more points than any others and clearly has nothing to do with the fact that 2,850 points mysteriously just showed up this round that couldn't have been spend until now.
PAGAN

After that we have Tropico 4's four bidders and 401 points.
SANZH

Following this is King of Fighters XIII - only two bidders but still at an impressive 275 points. Will Vancho1 finally win something or will amosmyn force him to continue his bad luck streak?
VANCHO1

Starting to finally run out of steam we come in with To the Moon at 191 points. Earlier, Crowstone failed to make it home, but it looks like she'll make it there since she is fronting all but 16 of the bidded points.
CROWSTONE

Looks like after a series of just missing out on finally getting someone out of this mess, we've finally reached the moment where some lucky player will be walking away with two gamse! Both KoH and Carnegie are looking to nab Bioshock, putting in 155 points total. Only one of them can walk away with it though and it's:
CARNEGIE

It was always probably going to happen when we doubled the amount of games going, but it looks like again we have someone in a pitched battle against themselves. Will Terrabalt triumph over Terrabalt and win Frozen Synapse, or will he have just wasted his points?
TERRABALT

Now we've come to the seventh game, Kick Excalibur in the Cro- wait a minute who put this here? This isn't a-

Hello? I, yeah, what's up with- oh. Wait what? We don't have the- I... alright.

So uh, yeah. KEitC. 147 points, 4 bidders. The winner is:
EXCALIBUR

Wait a minute how did? He's not even one of the... shit. Hurry, get him out of our system before he

*static*

Alright, we're back. Sorry, we had to reset the entire system our real winner is:

ICANHASDONUT

Congratulations, you now have given Excalibur a virtual kick in the crotch, removing his remaining, vaguely annoying, single point bids. You also have my express permission to hunt down Excalibur and kick him in the crotch. Note that the legal, moral, and material ramifications of doing so are very real and I have no actual authority over Excalibur in the slightest so my permission is completely useless in every way shape and form and you most definitely should not make any attempt of violence on Excalibur (or anyone really). Also, apologies but in restarting everything we sort of lost your bids, so everyone who's put something on KEitC will have them reimbursed. Sorry for any inconvenience, we'll try to make sure it never happens again.

Anyways, back on schedule we'll end the round off with Psychonauts, which has 135 points and two bidders on it. The winner of the game is:
DRUPLESNUBB

Well, that was... exhilarating. It's also reminded me of a rule Coldblooded added to the last giveaway about adding weird point amounts. Please do try to stick to multiples of five on everything if you can, it really makes these big updates a lot easier. I can understand if you do want to split your points in a strange way between games (like say you have 100 and want to split them evenly between three), but pointless '1 point on this game just because' bids are a really unnecessary hassle to deal with.

Anyways, here are our new point totals!
The Samaritan Paradox: 125 (OzTheWizard: 125)
Eidolon: 125 (yappy111 - 125)
Dear Esther: 125 (yappy111 - 125)
Warlock: 125 (Garuru - 125)

Yes! My propitiations and supplications to the Dread God of Chaos Arengee have finally worked! I performed the requisite sacrifices of dice that have only rolled 20s, and a single critical failure, as well as the blood of all whose saving throws vs death have failed.

Now, I just need to get out of this blood contract with my soul intact...

@hector: I assume you want me to do that at the end of the round? Also there's a five way tie for seventh (three for sixth if Dead Space drops to 110 points) so you might have to become the deciding factor there if you want to be on all of the top eight.

Something like 16 hours remain (sorry for the lack of a 24 hour update).

RE: Steam Winter Giveaway 2015 (D8 - Giveaway: Resurrection)
Sorry sorry, got back later than I planned and then lost track of time. Here's our top eight:

Fallout: New Vegas: 540 (Gnauga - 250, ChrisClark13 - 150, KoH - 130, AgentBlue - 10)
Warlock: 300 (Garuru - 175, Demonsul - 125)
Osmos: 265 (Supernerd - 175, Vancho1 - 50, Druplesnubb - 40)
One Way Heroics: 255 (ICan'tGiveCredit - 125, Schazer - 100, Paranoia - 30)
Paranautical Activity: 210 (Excalibur - 210)
Oddworld: Abe's Oddysee: 195 (Coldblooded - 195)
Really Big Sky: 170 (Supernerd - 175)
Dead Space: 155 (hector212121 - 150, Supernerd - 5)

Again we're seeing huge totals that definitely don't have anything to do with how many extra points people have gotten in the last two rounds. First we have Fallout: New Vegas. Four bidders at 540 points means whoever wins it, several others will have their ambitions for a second game set back.
KOH

Following this is Warlock, with 300 points between two bidders and still a pretty close contest.
GARURU

Third is Osmos, a bit of a dark horse before later this round, but now boasts an impressive 265 points between three bidders.
SUPERNERD

Next is One Way Heroics - 255 between three bidders puts it just under Osmos but it's arguably far more competitive.
SCHAZER

Oh man, Paranautical Activity. After being mercilessly not kicked in the crotch by icanhasdonut, Excalibur has made this one of the more vied for titles this round at 210 points. I have no idea who could win.
EXCALIBUR

Wait why am I even separating these, since the competition between Oddworld and Really Big Sky are both equally intense.
COLDBLOODED

SUPERNERD

And uh, with that Supernerd no longer has any points in Dead Space. Gonna argue that it's still in the running as eighth game, as opposed to now being tied with Eidolon and Dear Esther.
HECTOR212121

Dang, well that's six more people out of the running. Special mention goes to Supernerd, for coming out of nowhere to nail both of his games at once, and Coldblooded who cruelly manipulated you all in ways that guaranteed nobody would be standing against him for his bids.

Due to RL issues on my end getting games to the winners will be delayed this round, but expect it done by this time tomorrow at the absolute latest. Deadline in 48 hours from half an hour ago.

Here are our point totals:

RE: Steam Winter Giveaway 2015 (D9 - Giveaway Goes to Hell: The Final Giveaway)
Does winning two games mean that you can no longer win any more even if you already had points in one in the same round you bid on? Either way, I am not going to be too upset that I didn't get my 5 point chance at Dead Space which I obviously wouldn't have got anyway.

RE: Steam Winter Giveaway 2015 (D9 - Giveaway Goes to Hell: The Final Giveaway)
@Supernerd - it's not an issue that ever came up in the last giveaway or this one (until this last round), but generally the assumption is that since you had way more points on the other two games (and stated you were only biding on it to break a tie) you didn't care about Dead Space. If, for example, it had higher points than Really Big Sky and you won it (Dead Space), you'd still be in the running for RBS and would be able to choose which you wanted (assuming you then went on to win RBS, which you would have).

I mean I did keep you in the running for Dead Space (you didn't win) just out of principle though so this musing doesn't matter too much I guess. I guess to actually answer your question though, yes you can win more than two games if you win multiples in your last round, but you can't walk away with more than two and it's assumed that if you put a dramatically larger amount of points on one you'd rather have it.

I send the games out or get you in touch with who has them if there was some issue transferring them to me earlier. I'm not sure what else you want to know on this.
