RE: Steam Winter Giveaway 2015 (D9 - Giveaway Goes to Hell: The Final Giveaway)
Okay wow so we end the ninth round in a big way. Here's our top eight, as always:

Tower of Guns: 400 (Masterblade - 400)
Costume Quest: 355 (Akumu - 225, granolaman - 100, ICan'tGiveCredit - 50, Druplesnubb - 5)
Just Cause 2: 325 (woolijung - 225, cyber95 - 100)
Shank: 200 (speedchuck - 175, ChrisClark13 - 25)
Garry's Mod: 175 (icanhasdonut - 125, Vancho1 - 50)
Psychonauts: 175 (Mecha_Goomba - 175)
Eidolon: 150 (yappy111 - 150)
Dear Esther: 150 (yappy111 - 150)

We start with Tower of Guns, where Masterblade has shown he tolerates no competitor by bidding about 250 more points than were necessary to win it this round. I wonder if he'll succeed in winning it?
MASTERBLADE

Next is our most competitive game of the round, Costume Quest with four bidders and 355 points.
AKUMU

Third is Just Cause 2 - less competition than Costume Quest but far more than most of our other options with two bidders putting forward 325 points.
CYBER95

Fourth is Shank, will speedchuck's determination pull forward or will we see a surprise upset?
SPEEDCHUCK

Our fifth and last competitive title of the round is Garry's Mod, with 175 points between two bidders.
VANCHO1

And now we reach Psychonauts, Eidolon, and Dear Esther, all of which boringly went unopposed.
MECHA_GOOMBA

YAPPY111

YAPPY111

Thus ends our ninth round, and also I believe we've officially passed the halfway mark! Stay tuned, next round will end in hopefully 48 hours (though it might be longer since I think I might have something going on then. Kiven could probably take care of it if he's free and I'm not then though so keep an eye out).

unlike Dragon Fogel, who will no doubt spend 450 points on A Machine For Pigs (so inefficient) or even hire out his own Cat Lady

Two hours until technical deadline but it's quite likely I won't get to the update until long after (I'll give a warning before I do so, so as to avoid people losing out on a chance to bid last minute again). Keep an eye out for Kiven doing it possibly.

No changes outside Papers bidding 200 on FEZ.

RE: Steam Winter Giveaway 2015 (D10 - The Pink Giveaway: Remake)
What up my people, it's Co-Mod Kiven here, doing the day end about two hours late. My bad. But anyway, who cares about me, it's time to reveal this round's top eight!

FEZ: 475 (Papers – 325, TehPilot - 150)
The Samaritan Paradox: 275 (OzTheWizard: 275)
HOARD: 190 (Druplesnubb - 190)
Duke Nukem 3D: Megaton Edition: 150 (Pagan - 150)
The Bridge: 150 (amosmyn - 150)
Serious Sam 3: BFE: 150 (Rivenforge - 150)
Spec Ops: The Line: 140 (AgentBlue - 140)
AaaaaAAaaaAAAaaAAAAaAAAAA!!! for the Awesome: 100 (Garuru - 100)

Now I'm sure you're all dying to hear who won these games which had practically mountains of people crawling over each other to get them, so let's finish with the suspense and get it on.

Our first, and arguably only, riveting duel is between Papers and TehPilot, who are duking it out for the one, the only: FEZ! And who could have won this jaw dropping battle?
PAPERS

And now on to the true show of the night. I wonder who won The Samaritan Paradox, HOARD, Duke Nukem, The Bridg, Serious Sam, Spec Ops: The Line and AaaaaAAaaaAAAaaAAAAaAAAAA!!! for the Awesome respectively?
OZTHEWIZARD

DRUPLESNUBB

PAGAN

AMOSMYN

RIVENFORGE

AGENTBLUE

GARURU
...respectively.

Here's the haps with games still in the running:
The Swapper: 50 (icanhasdonut - 50)
Gun Monkeys: 50 (ICan'tGiveCredit - 50)
Amnesia: A Machine for Pigs
Battlepaths
Dino D-Day
Frozen Synapse (x2)
Hero of the Kingdom
Huntsman: The Orphanage
Kingdom Elemental
Major Mayhem
Ms. Splosion Man
Natural Selection 2
Nightsky (x2)
OlliOlli
Orcs Must Die! 2
Paranormal State: Poison Spring
Pitiri 1977
Power Up!
Primal Carnage
Shadow Warrior Classic Redux
Shank2
The Cat Lady
The Novelist
The Showdown Effect
The Sun at Night
Xeno Clash

And here's the new point totals:
Papers has 50 points
woolijung, Masterblade, cyber95, ICan'tGiveCredit, granolaman, Akumu, and icanhasdonut have 100 points.
ChrisClark13 has 125 points.
Gnauga and Demonsul have 150 points.
Paranoia has 170 points.
Crowstone and Sanzh have 200 points.
TehPilot has 175 points.
Raptarion has 300 points.
bigro has 400 points.
KatoHearts has 450 points.
Dragon Fogel and anacreon have 500 points

Tell me if I got any totals wrong, feel free to do your thing now. Ya got 48 hours (I think).

RE: Steam Winter Giveaway 2015 (D11 - Giveaway: Ninja Academy)
Alright, time for the end of the round! Here's our top eight:

X(Z)eno Clash: 250 (Gnauga - 150, Akumu - 100)
Kingdom Elemental: 250 (Dragon Fogel - 250)
The Sun at Night: 250 (Dragon Fogel - 250)
Dino D-Day: 175 (TehPilot - 175)
The Novelist: 150 (granolaman - 100, Papers - 50)
Orcs Must Die! 2: 150 (Demonsul - 150)
The Swapper: 100 (icanhasdonut - 100)
Gun Monkeys: 100 (ICan'tGiveCredit - 100)

Well, this is going to be a pretty clear round too isn't it? Let's do things a little differently to accommodate, and get all of the obvious ones out of the way. We start with one guy who, much like in the previous round, came out of nowhere with no tolerance for anyone getting in his way, creating and snagging up the second and third titles, Kingdom Elemental and The Sun at Night, in our list.

DRAGON FOGEL

In short order after that, we have Dino D-Day in the fourth spot, and then Orcs Must Die! 2, The Swapper, and Gun Monkeys taking spots six through eight, all going to their sole bidders (listed respectively):

TEHPILOT

DEMONSUL

ICANHASDONUT

ICAN'TGIVECREDIT

Now for what you've been waiting for, our top slot of the round - the game formerly known as Xeno Clash, Zeno Clash, is a close race between two daring titans, not content to take a game without blood. Only one will walk out the winner though!

GNAUGA

Finally we have The Novelist - while only coming in fifth at almost half as many points as our top title, it's still just as hotly contested and thus no less exciting.

GRANOLAMAN

Well, there goes the last of our bid-on titles. With things now winding down to a close and few games left to give, I hope you don't mind if we start to bring things to an end. I'm planning to give away as many games as are bid on for this last round barring everyone left going for the same handful of games, so if you're one of the people left who still needs a second (or first!) game now's the time to get to it.

Also, if you've won a game and have not received it yet, please let me know and I'll find out what's going on before we call it a day.

Here's our list of remaining titles and points total:

Amnesia: A Machine for Pigs
Battlepaths
Frozen Synapse (x2)
Hero of the Kingdom
Huntsman: The Orphanage
Major Mayhem
Ms. Splosion Man
Natural Selection 2
Nightsky (x2)
OlliOlli
Paranormal State: Poison Spring
Pitiri 1977
Power Up!
Primal Carnage
Shadow Warrior Classic Redux
Shank2
The Cat Lady
The Showdown Effect

Akumu, icanhasdonut, and Papers have 50 points
woolijung, Masterblade, and cyber95 have 150 points.
ChrisClark13 has 175 points.
Paranoia has 220 points.
Crowstone and Sanzh have 250 points.
Raptarion has 350 points.
bigro has 450 points.
KatoHearts has 500 points.
anacreon has 550 points

RE: Steam Winter Giveaway 2015 (D12 - Giveaway: Epilogue?)
Alright, so here's where we're at:

Frozen Synapse (x2): 550 (bigro - 450, Papers - 50, woolijung - 50, icanhasdonut - 50)
Hero of the Kingdom: 350 (Crowstone - 250, woolijung - 100)

Wait a minute, what was the one thing I said not to do? What was the one thing? Guys why you do this to me.

Alright, so let's begin. A staggering 550 points on Frozen Synapse, while it's almost certain bigro will walk away with a copy there is more than enough competition for the second (well technically third).

PAPERS

BIGRO

Next we have Hero of the Kingdom which at the very least promises to be a little more exciting.

CROWSTONE

So we're sort of back at where we were last round, with only three out of the fifteen or so remaining titles I was hoping to give away this round, but what can we do right? Let's go one more round, lucky number 13!

Amnesia: A Machine for Pigs
Battlepaths
Huntsman: The Orphanage
Major Mayhem
Ms. Splosion Man
Natural Selection 2
Nightsky (x2)
OlliOlli
Paranormal State: Poison Spring
Pitiri 1977
Power Up!
Primal Carnage
Shadow Warrior Classic Redux
Shank2
The Cat Lady
The Showdown Effect

icanhasdonut and woolijung have 50 points.
Akumu has 100 points.
Masterblade and cyber95 have 200 points.
ChrisClark13 has 225 points.
Paranoia has 270 points.
Sanzh has 300 points.
Raptarion has 400 points.
KatoHearts has 550 points.
anacreon has 600 points

ChrisClark, I'm presuming that those three are listed in the order you want them most, since you only have one title left to win.

Also here we are:

Primal Carnage: 100 (ChrisClark13 - 100)
The Showdown Effect: 75 (ChrisClark13 - 75)
Ms. Splosion Man: 50 (ChrisClark13 - 50)
Nightsky (x2): 50 (icanhasdonut - 50)
Amnesia: A Machine for Pigs
Battlepaths
Huntsman: The Orphanage
Major Mayhem
Natural Selection 2
OlliOlli
Paranormal State: Poison Spring
Pitiri 1977
Power Up!
Shadow Warrior Classic Redux
Shank2
The Cat Lady

Will resolve the round in about 28.5 hours.

RE: Steam Winter Giveaway 2015 (D13 - Giveaway Draws to a Close)
Cool so here we are:

Ms. Splosion Man: 250 (cyber95 - 200, ChrisClark13 - 50)
Primal Carnage: 100 (ChrisClark13 - 100)
The Showdown Effect: 75 (ChrisClark13 - 75)
Nightsky (x2): 50 (icanhasdonut - 50)

Pretty clear cut I think. Ms. Splosion Man is the only one with competition but seeing as how it's not even ChrisClark's top choice I doubt cyber won't end up with it no matter what the result is.

CYBER95

That clears things up pretty nicely. All that's left is officially announcing the winners of Primal Carnage, The Showdown Effect, and Nightsky out which of his other options ChrisClark wants.

With everyone having bid this round having gotten their games, I am going to officially call it. Those who are left can claim which games they want here and I'll get them to you. I'll probably give it a 24 hour grace period (maybe more, I'm super busy this week) just in case everyone comes up wanting the same game but then give it all out on a first come first save basis:

Amnesia: A Machine for Pigs
Battlepaths
Huntsman: The Orphanage
Major Mayhem
Natural Selection 2
OlliOlli
Paranormal State: Poison Spring
Pitiri 1977
Power Up!
Shadow Warrior Classic Redux
Shank2
The Cat Lady
The Showdown Effect.

RE: Steam Winter Giveaway 2015 (D14 - Giveaway Epilogue)
Silly Carny, you have your games!

Note that I'll still be giving away the remaining seven or so games to go for the next little while. Get 'em while you can!

Also let me know if you haven't gotten one of the two titles you won for any reason and we'll sort it out.

Alright so closing thoughts:

++ A lot of things went well this time! Double Overtime did exactly what I wanted to do and had the benefit of also reinvigorating the game later on, and caused basically no problems on my end.
++ With the exception of a couple small things (and one larger thing that I'll get to) there ended up being no issues getting people's games out too which is good.
++ Had great communication with my co-mod. While I managed to get to things in a reasonably timely way most of the time Kiven easily managed to step in and save me when I couldn't.
++ Donors were fantastic with sending games out, those that weren't sent to me prior to starting were always out quickly upon them being won so nobody had to wait long at all.
++ Hey here we are at the end again!

-- Ran out of steam near the end with a few people stopping playing before they win their second (or even first!) game.
-- Had a couple instances with game links that were already claimed prior to the contest, while I did manage to solve them (hopefully to everyone's satisfaction) I should have checked them to be sure.
-- There were a few people I had to hunt down in Steam to give them their games which ended up causing shamefully long delays in getting their games to them as I occasionally got wrapped up in other things and didn't notice when they eventually accepted my add. Next time I'd want to make sure I have everyone from the getgo so as to not slow things down and leave people waiting.
-- Flavour was about as bland as last time (if not worse) but again I'd rather have things done in a timelier fashion.

Despite problems though, I'm completely satisfied with how this went down and hope that the next one (whenever it happens) will be even better! I'm not 100% sure I have it in me to run one of these again in the immediate future, but anyone else who might want to do something for the summer sale or next winter one I'd be remiss to not allow them to blatantly steal and/or improve on everything here (not like most of it is mine to be stolen from). If I do though, I'll definitely try to get on letting people know about it before the sales end in case they wish to donate something.

Once again, thanks to Kiven, Coldblooded, Kocel, amosmyn, Akumu, Rivenforge, Granolaman, Schazer, OzTheWizard, Excalibur, Terrabalt, Demonsul, Raptarion, and KatoHearts, all of whom in one way or another made this whole thing possible. I couldn't have done it without them.

As for everyone else, I hope you enjoy your games and thanks for playing!
