Terraria
Terraria was GOTY 2011, and I won't hear differently.

What do you want to see in the upcoming update?

RE: Terraria
I was to see better online play. I bought my friend Terraria just so we could play together and then we were never able to connect to each others servers. It was frustrating.

As for actual in game content I'd want more biomes. I don't want them to be boring either. Instead of something boring like dessert, snow, jungle, I'd want something like sky islands or corruption. Ideally something even more interesting/fun than that.

Did you use Hamachi?

RE: Terraria
Yeah we used Hamachi and it didn't work. I'd played in an mspa server before too.

Hmm, strange. Ports open on router? (I'm assuming it wasn't local, of course.)

Yeah we had open ports. My friend even tried stuff like changing his IP address. One of these days we might try to just do some LAN to play it but with a game like Terraria I'd rather not.

RE: Terraria
Am told that Starbound is Terraria's spiritual successor. I would prefer terraria, but it was sorts of abandoned by the devs and then i ran out of shit to do. :c

RE: Terraria
So apparently Terraria is getting another update on October 1st. Look forward to new biomes, gadgets, bosses and penguins!

RE: Terraria
The new things in the update looked good so I decided to check Terraria out properly tonight with some friends who have played before (messing about for an hour by myself previously doesn't really count x_x). And thus...

Trial-by-fire Terraria: Face a goblin army 15 minutes in.

RE: Terraria
I actually use picks as a weapon early on because of the high swing speed…. The dagger sucks.

RE: Terraria
Sorry if this is kind of unrelated, but I have heard some good things about this game, is it worth picking up?

RE: Terraria
Terraria is indeed a great game and is well worth recommending. It is more than worth its humble price tag.
