pE: Lone Wolf was because the wolf only sees a card if they're alone. Not a slip for this scenario.

Regarding using the card you didn't get as a disguise, the only person that could be is Garuru at this point (you're the Seer, four people are mass masonfirmed noting that Eagle claimed Robber before you said which cards you'd seen so he'd be going 1 in 3 on the Seer not catching him, aaaaand the remaining four non-Garu people are all caught up in counterclaims)

And if Garu is a lone wolf, then how do you explain there being two CCs? One of APW/Chuck is the Tanner, sure, but the Minion and the other Werewolf are unused right now in that case. PoE says the other one of them would have to be the Insomniac as that's all that's left, but why the hell are they CCing then?????

(Same argument works against lonewolf!Eagle, incidentally, in case anyone still thought that was possible)

So why you vote to kill chuck and not me, APW? The current position was to off me and have me revenge kill chuck (although I guess given the tanner wins if shot it makes basically no difference which of the two of us is murderized)

of note, unless APW is playing a seriously hard gambit here there's no reason for antitown!APW to want Chuck dead at this point. (Specifically shooting the Hunter claim will ALWAYS cause the wolves to lose, and will cause the tanner to lose if the tanner isn't in the hunter claim, so only town players have any interest in shooting into it)

this could mean dini is the fakeclaiming drunk, but he hasn't really acted tanner-like at all so idk

The other possibilities are APW is throwing in the towel as tanner, or tanner is the last face-down card (or tanner is Garu I guess)

anyway I'm not sure if I want to hear what chuck has to say. We can at least hear what dini's drunk card claim is and then what pE's seer card order is before drawing a conclusion I guess.

EBWOP: Actually yeah we may as well fire into it tbh. Sure chuck might be the tanner but any other shot has the chance of hitting town as WELL as the chance of hitting the tanner, and chuck's response doesn't really sound tanner-like there.

Oh yeah nah I do want Mirdini to check in and give us a numerical majigger before we end the day, considering

APW's behaviour while excruciatingly tanned and toned is not entirely inconsistent with a Drunk who's figured "fuck it" and doesn't even know what their wincon is anymore. I mean, if he is the drunk he's either trying to get lynched or he got troublemaker and he doesn't want to get lynched, and he has no damn clue which.

At which point Deens could be scum trying to fly under the radar by dint of most people just assuming he's the real Drunk claim because APW is so scummy.

I will need another post to reset my attention span before I can figure out the logistics of whether it's worth Dini's while to lie about his cardnumber or no.

I sort of wonder whether Writer is flailing so hard because he's a wolf and knows it'll make him look like a tanner or fucked up drunk!minion. I mean surely everyone else notices that he's trying way too hard to have a 'oh no I'm so scum' part to his posts. Then again he stopped that recently after we decided to hit the hunterpair so it's possible he simply was trying to hard and I'm just drowning in all of this wine.

also I don't understand how dini and APW both want to fire into the Hunter pair. Given dini's reaction I can only speculate that APW is resigned antitown (but we shouldn't lynch him because his behaviour doesn't distinguish between resigned wolf and resigned Tanner) or dini is trying to double bluff or something idfk

the sad thing is you're actually right, pE claiming early that the Troublemaker and Minion are missing simplifies things IMMENSELY (only one person trying to attract the lynch, rolefuckery limited to Drunk, hell even the dopple AND the robber hit masons which is about the nicest cleanest result possible from that)

frankly as far as this setup goes this is probably comparatively simple.

I've been banking on my being town since the start of the game since odds were I got a town role, and now it's looking very probable I might actually be antitown so at this point I am a liiiiittle uncertain. Yeah you've got potential alignment changes in the Robber, the Drunk, the Troublemaker, and then obviously the Doppler gaining any of the above players' powers. Very fortunate that two of those could confirm with the masons, the Troublemaker never existed, and the Drunk can only really fuck themselves over.

Dusk descends upon the hysterical citizens of Panickton. A fire starts at the local Pitchfork Emporium but nobody cares since the place has been thoroughly looted. What few forks remain light up and turn into these pitchfork-torch combo things which are rad as hell.

Speedchuck is offered up to the newly appointed executioner, given a noose around the neck and told to walk the plank. (The town masons had gotten a little carried away building an elaborate execution machine since there were so damn many of them.) As speedchuck swung towards the flaming crocodile pyre, the guillotine accidentally slices through the rope and ejects speedchuck's flying body into the brand new bottomless pit.

The villagers wait until they can no longer hear speedchuck's screams, collectively shrug, then set to work covering the pit and dowsing the crocs. They return home in the evening, content that they have protected Panickton from biggest threat it's ever faced.

That is, until tomorrow morning's newpaper arrives...
